Movie Preview: What To See In Early 2015

The first few months of the year are a mixture of heaven and hell for film fans. Heaven because all the big award contenders are released, which means plenty of good films, and hell because there’s so many, so you inevitably end up missing something. But let’s be positive about it! The films likely to be in the running for this year’s BAFTAs and Oscars (we won’t know for sure who they are until mid-January) will give adults plenty to get their teeth into – and there’s at least one family movie that could be up for a gong or two as well.

He’s one of the world’s most recognisable celebrities, with easily the most distinctive voice, and he wrote a best seller on the unlikely subject of astro-physics. But what else do we know about Stephen Hawking? The Theory Of Everything is one of the first films out of the blocks in 2015 and brings the start of his career to the big screen.

2015 looks like a great year for movies. Next Spring there are a couple of light-hearted productions including Fifty Shades of Grey and A Little Chaos that seem perfect for a girlie night out.
Following a global premiere at The Toronto International Film Festival and a gala presentation at the BFI London Film Festival Lionsgate UK will bring Alan Rickman’s sumptuous British Period Drama A LITTLE CHAOS to UK cinema screens on 17th April 2015.
