One of the easiest way to get your Facebook follower’s attention is through images and one of the most important images on your business or personal page is your timeline cover.
As it is sized at at tricky 851px x 315px you might find it hard to find the right images to represent your brand so a collage is certainly the way to go.
You might also want to add some text in their too and as long as you stick to the 20% rule then that is fine.
Finding a tool that makes this easy isn’t such a simple task. Photoshop certainly does the job but you will still have to create the template yourself so I’ve been looking for other cheap and easy to use tools.
One such tool I have discovered is PicMonkey a free online photo editor that takes your images from good to glorious with a heaping load of fun. It’s photo editing for people who have a ton of creativity but no time for learning software.
There is a free version which is packed with features and a premium upgrade which is a very acceptable $33 a year.
There are lots of tools but one that I thought was great was the Facebook Timeline Collage creator, here’s how you can create a new timeline cover in seconds
Step 1 – Choose FB Cover from the layouts
Step 2 – Upload the photos you want to use
Step 3 – Drag the images into the predesigned template
Step 4 – Add text or other overlays
Step 5 – Save your image and upload to Facebook!
Make sure you follow the Facebook timeline cover guidelines
