Amid public controversy, the release of the wonderful Suffragette movie has stimulated mass curiosity for the historical events behind the Suffragettes movement led by Lady Emmeline Pankhurst and more generally for women’s fight for equality. This is a topic that has always interested me personally and I am happy to have finally found a book that has all the answers to my questions, March Women March by Lucinda Hawksley. This is a very inspiring story told in a modern way that allows us to enjoy important historical facts in a way that we have never experienced before. Considering it is filled with details, names and dates, it is really a very pleasant read. To celebrate the launch of Suffragette, Conrad London St. James is offering a rare and wonderful opportunity to meet with and listen to Lucinda Hawksley and special guest Dr. Helen Pankhurst on Thursday 29th October 2015 at 6pm.

All to be in the presence of a screen legend.
