Film Review: Steve Jobs

2015’s been quite a year for Michael Fassbender.  First came the western Slow West, then Shakespeare’s Macbeth and now it’s the most anticipated of the lot – playing the title role in Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs, which is released this Friday.

It’s a biopic with a chequered history: remarkably, Fassbender was third choice for the part.  London Mums’ film critic, Freda Cooper, finds out if it’s third time lucky.

This Week’s Movie News From Talking Pictures

Film Review: Macbeth

October looks like being Fassbender Month.  His bio-pic of the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, closes the London Film Festival in a few weeks’ time but, before then, he stars in the latest adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth.  The original play has a reputation for being unlucky, so how does this film version fare?  London Mums film critic, Freda Cooper, finds out if “something wicked this way comes”.
