Mirror Mirror on the wall….

Mirror Mirror, released on DVD & Blu-ray 30th July 2012 courtesy of StudioCanal UK, is the best movie about Snow White I have seen so far! Really light-hearted but also filled with action scenes, excellent actors and actresses! This movie is a real gem for both kids and parents and deserves a space in our DVD library.

You may or may not be aware that I love FENCING as a sport. I started practising sword fighting 2 years ago at the ‘young’ age of 40. What I love the most about this sport is that you can keep practising it until you are very old as it is not aerobic hence not hard on your heart.

I’m sure we’re all familiar with Heidi Murkoff’s 1985 pregnancy bible. It is probably the most famous guide to pregnancy in the English-speaking world. What To Expect When You’re Expecting, and others in the same series, have sold a staggering 35 million copies worldwide. With a phenomenon like this how long could Hollywood be expected to stay away? And sure enough, in line with the recent spate of films about pregnancy (Knocked Up, Juno, Away We Go), Heidi Murkoff’s best-seller has been given the Hollywood treatment.
