As many of us know, our pets are very sensitive to noise and get stressed by the sight and sound of fireworks going off, so here are some suggestions for measures you can take to try and reduce their anxiety and protect them from these events that are fun for us but not at all for them. I am very passionate about divulging this information as I feel for those poor pets who are dragged to noisy parties by dogs owners who are not aware how terribly scary these can be for their pets.

Danny is very excited because he is going to America. Danny is a ‘Reading Dog’. He goes into schools to help children read. This year he has been invited to spend a few weeks with the Corridor Therapy Dogs in Iowa. He makes lots of new friends; Princess Stella, Major Rascal, Jesse Junior and Sir Sonny. Somehow they all end up in the VIP area of Cedar Rapids’ Baseball Stadium. However did you manage that Danny?

Todo in Tuscany is about how a couple not only had the Dream, as many of us do, of starting an exciting new life abroad but how they actually did it (they bought a villa near the beautiful walled city of Lucca inTuscany in 2007, while maintaining and running their UK-based business). What they hadn’t planned on was buying a house … with a dog attached.
