UK filmmaker Harry Macqueen presents Supernova, his second feature at the Rome Film Fest 2020 as part of the Official Selection. A touching love story between a gay couple which needs to deal with the daunting and scare diagnosis of  dementia. The film cast benefits from stars of the stature  of Stanley Tucci in the role of a writer who will die of dementia and Colin Firth, his already grieving partner.

The film explores the challenging and universal themes of an announced loss of a loved one.

Film review: Eddie The Eagle

At the 1988 Winter Olympics, Britain found a new sporting hero. He was the one-man ski jumping team, he’d qualified for the competition by the skin of his teeth and he didn’t win a medal. In fact, he was permanently in last place. But everybody came under the energetic spell of Eddie Edwards. Nearly 30 years later, he’s inspired a big screen version of his story, which flies into cinemas on Friday, 1 April 2016. No joke!
