As soon as Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice was announced, the controversy started. The casting of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman came in for the most flack. Three years later, the film’s arrived and the debate shows no signs of slowing down. London Mums’ resident film critic, Freda Cooper, watches the two heroes go head to head. It may not be official, but this March seems like Sequels Month. The latest from Batman and Superman arrives just before Easter, as does My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 and Kung Fu Panda 3 is out at the end of this week. It’s getting crowded. First out of the blocks, however, is the latest in the post-dystopian series, Divergent:Allegiant.
It’s the third in the franchise and arrives in cinemas this Thursday, 10 March 2016. London Mums’ resident film critic, Freda Cooper, tries to find some signs of life.
