Film review: Trolls

DreamWorks’ Trolls is a hair-raising weird and wonderful comedy filled with unbelievable adventure and incredible music.  London Mums think it’s the must-see film for the forthcoming half term school holidays. There are lots of great messages to inspire the children, cute characters, but most importantly a fab soundtrack and great rearrangements of Eighties classics. Trolls has got it all!

Spring Cleaning with Shaun the Sheep at Mudchute Farm

Mudchute Park & Farm is London’s Best Kept Secret. And not many people know that it is the farm that inspired Aardman’s genius animation series Shaun the Sheep. We spent half day at Mudchute and had a private tour with a charming tour guide who told us all about the animals in their care. The kids loved touching and playing with the animals and finding all about one of the largest city farms in London (32 acres of countryside in the middle of the Isle of Dogs, South East London). Mudchute is free and open most of the year but as a charity it needs donations to keep surviving. Kids can experience close encounters with friendly fur and feathered creatures and book special events for a small (but important) fee.

The outstanding family friendly comedy Free Birds comes to VOD and Download from 24th March 2014. From the producers of Shrek, this film will have the kids laughing from beginning to the end.

Free Birds tells the tale of Reggie (played by Owen Wilson) – the turkey with more brains than most. After suspecting that the turkeys are being fattened up for a reason, he is kicked out of his coop for ruffling feathers.
