Valentine is around the corner and overrated as always. However getting a little something by the person you love is great (especially if the partner in question never gives you anything except on these few occasions). Flowers are nice but they die after a few days (not a great message there), chocolates make you fat (also not great!) so a perfume has to be the most romantic gift. The choice is huge and the task of choosing the best products on the market has not been an easy one. But here are London Mums’ favourite perfumes and scents for Valentine 2015.

Burberry Body Mist
A refreshing body mist infused with the Burberry Body Eau de Parfum. It is a delicate and alcohol-free perfume which is gentle to both skin and hair. You need to reapply it a few times if you want it to last throughout the day. I love the embossed white folding box and the multi-faceted frosted glass bottle which has a rose gold coloured embossed check lid. I actually am one of those women who loves perfume bottles so if the fragrance is good I start looking at the beauty of its container.

The Bluebeards Revenge
From the box you can already tell that this is the utterly ‘manly’ Eau de Toilette from premium men’s grooming range The Bluebeards Revenge. This fresh and masculine scent comes in a vibrant blue bottle, laser-etched with the iconic Bluebeards skull. It is a great perfume bottle for collection too. RRP £19.99
Opening with ozone notes accented by Sicilian bergamot and Ligurian basil, the heart features a rich blend of jasmine, black tea and watermint. Rich base notes include Madagascan vanilla, sandalwood, patchouli, oakmoss and musk.

Mens Bath Oil (Oak, Chypre and Orange Scent)
