Christmas is drawing near and the spirit of giving is in the air.
There are so many Christmas Gift ideas for babies and toddlers out there. Here are some of my favourite ones.
RRP from £18.99 to £21.99
Sizes from 12 to 36 months
Available from Slumbersac

Hooded Owls luxury hooded towel
These hooded towels are thick, super soft, fluffy and feel like the towels you get in a posh expensive hotel. They are adult-sized, so should last for as long as they want to have a hood on their towel, while the hoods are made from a double layer of the same thick towelling, so they can absorb loads of water from even the thickest head of hair!
RRP from £25
Available from www.hoodedowls.co.uk and www.notonthehighstreet.com
Books for pre-schoolers
Books always make great presents for children. From beloved classics to new favorites, here are the best stories to get your little kid interested on reading this Christmas.
Peppa Goes Ice Skating
Peppa and George are going ice-?skating but they have never been ice-skating before and Peppa keeps falling over. Mummy Pig teaches Peppa to skate and soon she has lots of fun. But
when Peppa tries to teach George it turns out he is better then everyone!
Peter Rabbit: Happy Christmas!
Peter and his friends have to collect Christmas goodies from Ginger and Pickles’ store and deliver them to everyone in the wood in time for Christmas. With beautiful snowy scenes from the fantastic new animation, this fun and festive story is simply told for very young children.
Spot’s Snowy Fun
Spot is sledging, skating and making a snowman, before snuggling up at home with a steaming mug of hot chocolate. This simple board book with a soft finger puppet of Spot, complete with bobble hat, will really help adults to bring the pages to life. Great snowy fun to share with very young children.
Angelina’s Christmas
In this festive story, Angelina and her cousin Henry visit lonely old Mr Bell, the retired village postman. They invite him to Angelina’s Christmas show to cheer him up and he appears dressed as Father Christmas, handing out presents to everyone. This Christmas classic has been upsized and has a brand new cover for Christmas. 2014!
The NEW Small Person
My favourite pre-schoolers’ book is most certainly this Lauren Child’s little story about Elmore Green who started life as an only child, as many children do. He had a room all to himself, and everything in it was his. But then one day, everything changed . . .
This brand new picture book from the hugely talented Lauren Child is a beautiful and moving original take on the arrival of a new sibling and will undoubtedly strike a chord with children and parents alike. Featuring a new character, Elmore Green, the struggle of sharing a world with a new small person is told with Lauren Child’s trademark wit, humour and style. A much-anticipated new picture book that won’t disappoint – this is Lauren Child at her absolute best.
Lauren Child is one of today’s most talented and innovative children’s writer/illustrators. Winner of the Nestlé Smarties Book Prize and the Kate Greenaway Medal, she is best known for creating the characters Clarice Bean and the BAFTA-award-winning Charlie and Lola. She is co-creator of The Princess and the Pea and Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
Check out this video where Lauren presents her new book and tells her what makes it so special and real 🙂
