BABY BAG FOR COOL DADS
MATchel is a multi-award winning portable changing station (aimed at dads, but loved by mums too!). The sleek satchel style bag unzips and folds out to be an extra-long padded changing mat with a built-in pillow, suitable for newborns to toddlers. The large winged pockets are big enough to hold nappy changing essentials and the large zip pocket at the front will hold parents’ essentials. Ideal for running errands and other short trips out, when carrying a big changing bag is unnecessary! www.mabyland.com

The names says it all really and sums up what this product is about. It’s a real shaving experience at a budget for man who work hard, play hard, train hard. It’s a great slogan too 🙂 Designed by a real life ‘Blue Beard’ (a man who has to shave twice a day) who was bored to death with being a Desperate Dan look-alike, the range is paraben free and contains ingredients such as Decelerine to specifically combat tough stubble and reduce hair growth, as well as tackle common shaving problems like razor rash, burn, ingrowing hairs, lumps and bumps.
There are plenty of London based stockists such as Menkind in Westfield, Uxbridge and Stratford, The Garden Pharmacy and Nancy Victor in Covent Garden and The Valet in Croydon.
A real classic smell that will never tire! I love it and my uncle really loved it too! RRP £11.00 (a real bargain if you ask me!) available at Boots online.
Experience once again the magnificent performances from outstanding athletes such as Usain Bolt, Michael Phelps, Chris Hoy and Jessica Ennis. Marvel at the many amazing achievements, including Mo Farah’s double gold, Oscar Pistorius’ Olympic Games debut and Nicola Adams’ gold in the boxing ring. Relive Team GB’s 29 gold medal triumphs and recapture the moments which made these Olympic Games so special; from the electrifying atmosphere in the stadium on ‘Super Saturday’ to judo’s Gemma Gibbons’ tearful dedication and the pure emotion of swimmer Chad le Clos’ father. If you loved Mad Men, you cannot miss The Hour, which in my view is the British answer to Mad Men. Absolutely amazing costumes and reconstruction of the 50s press room. I personally love it! The second six-part series of The Hour will see the return of Bel (Romola Garai), Hector (Dominic West) and Freddie (Ben Whishaw) alongside beloved Lix (Anna Chancellor), scheming McCain (Julian Rhind-Tutt) and newly assertive Marnie Madden (Oona Chaplin), in this highly acclaimed 1950s newsroom drama. Series two rejoins The Hour team a year on in 1957 where we are introduced to new characters played by Peter Capaldi (The Thick Of It, The Nativity) Hannah Tointon (The Inbetweeners) and Tom Burke (State of Play). The six new episodes will see the team still striving to broadcast the stories they believe in as they grapple with the looming spectre of the Cold War and changing social mores. Available on DVD from 31 December 2012 RRP: £20.42
You can actually buy THE HOUR SERIES 1 & 2 as a box from 31 December too for RRP: £25.52. Thrilling twelve-part series about a 1950s newsroom penned by Bafta -winning writer Abi Morgan, whose previous credits include Brick Lane, White Girl and Sex Traffic. The Hour takes us behind the scenes of a broadcast news room in London during the mid 50s, with a highly competitive, sharp witted and passionate love triangle at its heart. We follow the lives of three characters who are tasked to set up a new weekly investigative news show called The Hour.

We loved it! One of the best books I have read this year. What an inspiration for a generation! Men in particular will love this story as Oscar seem to have lived a very boystrous lifestyle.
