London Mums’ best gift for girls this Christmas is Deluxe Barbie Summer Villa with Doll (RRP £59.99 down to £47.99). Our child reporter and reviewer Lilly built it by herself and then we played together. This Summer themed easy to assemble cardboard villa has brought some sunshine to our gloomy winter. Imagination play is what I grew up with and what children need to learn life’s skills. Kids these days spend far too much time in front of screens and little time interacting with friends to pretend games.

Barbie Summer Villa is environmentally friendly and can be stored flat as it’s made out of cardboard. A super-modern dream holiday villa (70cm tall x 79cm wide x 38 cm deep), on two floors with a veranda and pool, lots of rooms, and 3D furniture… all Barbie-sized! One Barbie wearing a cute Summery dress is included in the box.

Lilly and I had hours of fun playing in Barbie’s incredible holiday villa. We even did a photo shoot with my Barbie dolls.
