There’s a double helping this week of Talking Pictures, your essential guide to the movies from London Mums’ resident film critic, Freda Cooper.
The latest edition of the show is packed with the week’s big releases at the cinema, including The Revenant. And the film’s star, Leonardo Di Caprio, escapes the wilderness to take up the hot seat for The Big Interview. Also in the spotlight are Room and boxing drama Creed – or, as some people are calling it, Rocky VII!
This week’s DVDs are very much for adults – 45 Years and The Diary Of A Teenage Girl. Plus there’s the new top five at the British box office.
It’s all packed into 20 minutes and it’s available on iTunes, TuneIn and right here on London Mums:
But there’s a whole lot more! With the Golden Globes ceremony, as well as the BAFTA and Oscar nominations all taking place in just one week, there wasn’t time to fit them into this week’s Talking Pictures. The answer? A Talking Pictures Awards Special!
Freda checks out who won, who was nominated and who was left out in the cold – and gives a hint or two on next month’s possible winners.
Everything you need to know about this year’s awards season is squeezed into just 11 minutes. You can listen on iTunes, TuneIn and here on London Mums.
Don’t forget, you can stay up to date with Talking Pictures by liking the official Facebook page and following Freda on Twitter, @TheCoopsReview.
