Avengers: Infinity War brings together the full Avengers squad and the Guardians of the Galaxy team. I went to see the UK multimedia screening in London and I loved it. Unsurprisingly it’s non stop action mixed with humour as the Marvel Universe becomes more and more comedic as we have also seen in the latest Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe. The cast is so brilliant together and Infinity War will be the Marvel movie to attract a record number of fans and expand the audience beyond loyal Marvel fans.
If you already love the Marvel Universe, you’ll love this movie. If you have never seen it before with your kids, well this is a good movie to start entering the world of superheroes.
This movie explores the story of the Infinity Stones and how the quest to have them created a big war in the universe which the Avengers are trying to stop with the help of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Thanos is the big villain who is collecting them by leaving lots of destruction behind.
The Infinity Stones have been present ever since the Tesseract was introduced into the series in Captain America: The First Avenger, although the first official mention was in Guardians of the Galaxy. Whoever manages to control all six stones (each one representing an aspect of reality) will have the ultimate power to reshape reality and destroy anything he wishes in the universe. In this latest film the complex Marvel Universe becomes clearer while all superheroes come together.

Avengers: Infinity War Merchandising
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War Thor’s Weapon Quest by LEGO – RRP £19.99
Diego has been enjoying playing with a LEGO kit based on the Avengers Infinity War movie even without watching the film. The little LEGO figures of the superheroes are so cute: in this pack there are Rocket, Thor and Groot and Thor.
The spaceship can be launched into space and pretend to help the Avengers on their mission to find Thor’s ultimate weapon. Kids can fire the stud shooters at enemies and position the figures on the spaceship for take off and landing. Diego loves flying these LEGO pieces. Luckily they are sturdy and they resist all sorts of launching (giggle).
This Thor’s Weapon Quest kit by LEGO along with other ones created for this movie release is available in all good retailers.
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War 12″ Figures by Hasbro – RRP £12.99
We also loved reviewing the Avengers’ figures. They are available in all good retailers.
The new Titan hero series by Hasbro inspired by Avengers: Infinity War movie design has just launched new figures which are even better quality than the previous ones. They are much sturdier and more realistically built. I love playing with the figures more than my son…
They are all 12-inch-scale figures and have 5 points of articulation. Each figure includes a Titan Hero Power Fx connection port, which, when connected to Titan Hero Power FX packs (not included), recognises the Titan character and activates 3 character-specific sounds and phrases directly from Marvel’s movies.
Falcon looks very similar to the real life actor. Anthony Mackie (who impersonates Falcon) must be really pleased with this figure. He’ll probably show it off at his next TV appearance. They love doing it, don’t they?
Avengers: Infinity War will hit the UK on the 27th April 2018.
