Melissa McCarthy’s in charge on this week’s edition of Talking Pictures! She’s in the Big Interview hot seat, talking about her latest comedy, The Boss, which is directed by her husband, Ben Falcone. London Mums’ resident film critic Freda Cooper casts her eye over the rest of this week’s new releases, which include Learning To Drive, with Ben Kingsley and Patricia Clarkson, Oscar nominated Embrace Of The Serpent, Japanese animation When Marnie Was There and Michael Moore’s latest documentary, Where To Invade Next.
Exploration is the theme in this week’s DVDs. There’s a newly re-mastered version of the 1948 classic, Scott Of The Antarctic, and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscar winner, The Revenant. Plus Antonio Banderas leads the Chilean miners to safety in the true story of The 33, and there’s the would-be thriller, Go With Me.
Your essential guide to the movies is packed into exactly 20 minutes. It’s on iTunes, TuneIn and right here:
