La la Land… the title does not say much but the trailer certainly does. This is the film I am truly looking forward to watching early in the new year. La La Land is the uplifting movie of the new beginning that will make us all put the diabolical 2016 behind us with a bang. Take a look at two of the most gorgeous and talented new Hollywood stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone in this new clip to decide for yourself.
From the director of Whiplash, Damien Chazelle, La La Land is the story of jazz pianist Sebastian (Gosling) who falls for an aspiring actress Mia (Stone) in Los Angeles.
From a first look at the trailer I love the look and feel, retro at times and certainly very romantic. It seems a movie from a different era and the fashion is also prominent. Emma Stone’s dresses look stunning and remind me of Mad Men mod style.
Written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Damien Chazelle, LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia [Emma Stone], an aspiring actress, and Sebastian [Ryan Gosling], a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts. Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
