The story
When Michael Kingley (Geoffrey Rush, The King’s Speech, Shakespeare In Love), a retired businessman, sees images from his past that he can’t explain, he is forced to recall his childhood memories and how, as a boy, he rescued and raised an orphaned pelican, Mr Percival.

The verdict
Storm Boy is an uplifting family film that we all need right now in times when we long love, affection, friendship and socialisation. It’s a story about unconditional love but also about doing the right thing.
Great storylines and touching grand-daughter – granddad conversations made me feel nostalgic about my relationship with my own grandparents. Charming movie all the way that does not need special effect to wow us.
It’s a movie the whole family will enjoy and will help us overcome this period of lockdown when we most need good quality home entertainment. It’s one of those films that will bring the family together.
