To celebrate the release of 12 Dogs of Christmas 2: The Great Puppy Rescue, Signature Entertainment held a festive screening at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith on Saturday, 7th December 2013.
A sequel to the holiday classic, the film stars Danielle Chuchran (Cat In The Hat, Rise of the Shadow Warrior) as the grown up 17-year old Emma who finds herself needing to rescue the local puppy orphanage. Mean-spirited mogul Finneas plots to shut down the orphanage unless Emma can come up with the money to save it. With the help of some friends, she races against time to put together a musical holiday event that just might save the day.
This heart-warming festive film has all the elements that will entertain all ages with its fun and lively song and dance scenes, a touch of teenage romance, friendship and a host of adorable dogs. And that is exactly what was unveiled at the end of the screening of 12 Dogs of Christmas 2 – a host of adorable dogs brought by The Dogfather creche, a premier dog walking service based in South West London.
The audience, which included press from Daily Mail, London Mums magazine and West London Mums, swooned as live dogs ranging from labrador puppies to cockapoo’s lined up the stage complete with Christmas bells.
The event was followed by a reception where the guests were able to meet & greet with the dogs and special appearances by Father Christmas and some members from Little Mix made it all the more Christmassy.
A great event to celebrate a wonderful Christmas film that is a must see for any dog lover.
12 Dogs of Christmas 2: The Great Puppy Rescue is available in stores now on DVD.
