2018 Film Preview

London Mums have chosen their top films to look forward to in 2018, some of which are suitable for the whole family and others that are pure entertainment just for the mums and dads. As it appears some of the old classic stories are revisited in 2018 and represented with a more contemporary look and feel. Is this a sign of lacking creativity or a nostalgia revival?

Disney’s Coco – London Mums and kids loved it and already reviewed it here. A great start of the year. 

NAME THAT TUNE – In Disney•Pixar’s “Coco,” Miguel’s love of music ultimately leads him to the Land of the Dead where he teams up with charming trickster Hector. “Coco” features an original score from Oscar®-winning composer Michael Giacchino, the original song “Remember Me” by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and additional songs co-written by Germaine Franco and co-director/screenwriter Adrian Molina. Black Panther out on 12 February 2018

Every con has it’s pro is the tagline. I am really excited about a full ladies’ cast including the hottest heist hit-squad around lead by Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, with Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.

 

 

Ant-Man and the Wasp out in July 2018

We have great expectations for London girl (Roehampton born) Emily Blunt as the new Mary Poppins in Rob Marshall’s MARY POPPINS RETURNS with the release date of Christmas 2018. Mark your diary, mums! Brace yourselves, fasten your seat belts and enjoy the Disney ride! I certainly will.
