Last weekend, the Yuletide season kicked off with a special event as shopDisney hosted a VIP gathering at The Disney Store on Oxford Street. The event showcased Disney’s holiday collections and featured well-known personalities, creating a magical atmosphere for families and children.

Notable figures from the realms of television, fashion, and music, including Alex Jones, Sam Faiers, Binky Felstead, Steph McGovern, Louise Roe, and Michelle Heaton, attended the event along with their families. The event offered a glimpse into the upcoming holiday season in Disney’s signature style.

 

The event highlighted Disney’s Christmas gift range, which includes items from “Wish” and “Frozen” collections, as well as festive essentials available online at shopDisney and Disney Store.

The Disney Choir was the highlight of the day for me and set the festive mood with timeless carols and Disney’s hit songs. The London Mums’ team had the opportunity to interact with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Pluto. A dedicated “Frozen” area and a themed space for Disney’s forthcoming animated musical comedy, “Wish,” added to the enchantment.

We enjoyed a magician’s surprises, hot chocolate, and participated in various fun activities. The event provided a delightful experience for families, keeping the holiday spirit alive.

In a charitable effort, the event supported Make-A-Wish, aligning with the spirit of giving during the holiday season. To celebrate the release of Disney’s “Wish” and the launch of the Wish collection online, Disney donated USD $300,000 to Make-A-Wish International and its Affiliates.

Rob Wypyski, acting senior marketing manager, UK & EMEA of The Disney Store, expressed enthusiasm about the success of the festive event. He emphasised the commitment to making the holiday season special for all families, inviting everyone to explore the new product ranges available at the Disney Store and online at shopDisney.
