A day in Rome with Audrey Hepburn

I’m Paola, and I’m a new London Mums’ contributor based in Italy.

A day in Rome with Audrey Hepburn is a book written by a friend of mine, Maurizio Canforini, a young Italian writer and theatre actor who, some months ago, decided to give me custody to the Facebook page related to his book. I invite you London Mums to join and like the page which re-visits lots of old facts and photos of Audrey Hepburn throughout her fruitful career in films and fashion.

We hope the English version of this book will be available soon. Meantime you can enjoy our daily feeds on Facebook about the book that tells the story of the movie, of the most famous holiday in the history of cinema, admittedly Roman Holiday is THE MOST GLAMOROUS HOLIDAY OF ALL!

While we wait for the English version we want to use this space to speak about Audrey Hepburn, one of the most beautiful human beings we have ever ‘met and known’ through the movies. Follow me in this new adventure.

Thanking my friend Maurizio and now London Mums for giving me this beautiful opportunity, in my forthcoming blogs here I’ll try to explain why I love Audrey so much, and how I started loving her films, her way of life and the footprint she left in many aspects of our lives, even 22 years after her death.

This is the first time I write a guest blog for a magazine so please bear with me while I become acquainted with blogging and writing in English. Passion will drive my posts so be patient with me, read me and you won’t regret it.

Watch this space and stay tuned!
