How to transform your workwear as a working mum
Jan 04 2021
Work is one of those things that we can all feel like we can get into a style dilemma with. You love the job you do, you are a powerful business woman – like my recent interviewee Fearne Cotton, but yet you may not feel like you can identify your style and personality through your workwear due to feeling like you can’t express yourself too much. You don’t want to lose the appearance of business and seriousness. However, you can transform your workwear wardrobe and it is easier than you think. The smart-working from home will end up soon and we will need to be ready to face real meetings other than Zoom. Let’s ditch those leggings and comfy pjs and get geared up for 2021. The best Christmas Show of 2020! Sleeping Beauty Panto review
Dec 26 2020
I miss going to the theatre and live events. If you want to watch the best Panto this Christmas, then opt for this contemporary version of Sleeping Beauty. The West End comes to our homes in the form of a Sleeping Beauty Pantomime that has certainly saved my particularly tough Christmas. This is the best Panto I have ever seen in my life. Seriously good, West End style production with gags full of double meanings aimed at both children and adults. Even some of the slapstick dances are hilarious. I haven’t laughed so much in a long time. Best show of the year by far. Gags include references to Trump, shopping in Uk shops and other funny relatable events. What makes this production more appealing to young audiences are the contemporary songs’ arrangements such as Despacito or other ‘80s disco tunes. The music will bring together audiences of all ages. What I love about the vibe of this show is that it was filmed pre-covid and shows people hugging and lots of togetherness and happiness that theatre used to bring us. Let’s hope this is a great reminder that arts need to be supported to stay alive. 10/10
