This is my 4th street party, that I’ve helped organise. Two were when we lived in Acton, and theirs has now become a yearly occurrence, with a slush fund, DJ and kids activities, plus bake-off, hands-free donut-eating races and karaoke. One American family was gung-ho for a dunk-tank, something they do on such occasions, but we made unenthusiastic noises about drownings and cold weather.

London Mums Magazine was invited to review new animation Super Mario Bros. Movie released on 5 April 2023. The movie based on the world of the game that bears the same name is produced by Illumination and Nintendo. It follows the story of Super Mario on their journey through the Mushroom Kingdom.
Super Mario Bros Movie is a cool animation, visually amazing, brings back a lot of childhood nostalgia as I played the video game from a young age.

The Akram Khan Company, a world-renowned dance company, has been producing innovative and breathtaking productions for over 22 years. The company has a significant international presence, and its tours reach people of various cultures and backgrounds worldwide. The artistic director of the company, Akram Khan, is also a recipient of numerous international dance awards, including the Olivier Award for his solo production DESH in 2012.
Akram Khan’s dance organisation has achieved many milestones throughout its journey, and one of the significant ones was the creation of a section of the London Olympic Games Opening Ceremony in 2012. Their latest offering, Jungle Book Reimagined, had its London premiere at Sadler’s Wells a few days ago.
