The Summer holidays are over and we are now slowly getting back into the swing of things at the start of a new exciting school term. We have so far sorted new school uniforms, after school clubs but we are still dealing with daily homework dilemmas. I have noticed that if I promise decent treats and rewards for completing the homework, my son is eager to work without a fuss. Here are ideas for simple treats that can help you mums also relax a bit once they unwind and get ready for dinner and bed.
First of all make a healthy and fun snack for the kids to revamp the usual fruit found in the lunchbox. Here is the recipe for a Fruit Salad Fun.
Ingredients needed
1 watermelon (you can use a pineapple, kiwi or any other fruit you like)
1 star shaped cutter
Step one:
Cut off the skin of the watermelon then divide it into slices
Step Two:
Select the cutter and cut out the star shape
Once the kids have their fruit bowl in their hands, allow them to watch some great classic TV shows for kids that Netflix has recently launched.
