Mount Carmel Rehab celebrates 40 years of transforming lives

South London Rehab Centre hosts anniversary event on 12th June, 2024. Mount Carmel, a renowned rehabilitation centre in London, is celebrating 40 years of dedicated service in helping individuals overcome alcohol dependency. Recognised for providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment, Mount Carmel has been instrumental in transforming the lives of countless men and women, offering high-quality care at affordable prices for both private and public funders.

40th Anniversary Celebration

Mount Carmel is hosting a special anniversary event on June 12th, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm to mark this significant milestone.

The event will feature:

–          11:00 am: Meet, greet, coffee, and tea

–          11:30 am: Presentation and a short film about Mount Carmel

–          12:00 noon: Guest speakers, including graduates sharing their stories of successful journeys into recovery

–          1:00 pm: Buffet lunch

–          1:45 pm: Performance by The Choir

The purpose of the event is to thank the stakeholders who have been alongside us every step of our journey – the local authority Care Managers, our loyal friends of Mount Carmel in the rehabilitation world, the politicians who support us, and our service providers. The celebration will bring together Care Managers, graduates, friends, and notable guests.

Mount Carmel’s enduring success is a testament to its unwavering dedication to providing accessible and effective rehabilitation. As the centre looks forward to the future, it remains steadfast in its mission to support individuals in overcoming alcohol dependency and leading fulfilling, sober lives.

Mount Carmel Rehab prides itself on the exceptional care it provides. The centre’s many successful clients not only achieve sobriety but also experience profound life changes. As a local MP and Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, emphasises,   “Too many Londoners have their lives ruined by alcohol dependency. I know from my experience as a local MP of the important work Mount Carmel does in helping people recover. Effective, accessible and affordable rehabilitation is vital.”
