I love this Spring recipe for Pineapple and grapefruit fat-loss smoothie kindly donated by Netflix to London Mums.
Get this smoothie ready to drink before and after the TV workout prepared by celebrity fitness guru Niki Wibrow who teamed up with Netflix to to help us mums find a way to work out during our daily routine, and what better way to do this than to burn the calories while you are watching your favourite shows.
Packed full with fibre, pineapple keeps you fuller for longer without a lot of calories. The grapefruit is high in fat-burning enzymes, and it also reduces insulin spikes, which aids fat loss. Pumpkin seeds will help fire up your metabolism with good fats and the coconut oil will help reduce overall food intake. A great shake to blitz the bulge.
What you will need:
• 4 slices of pineapple
• ¼ grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
• 250ml low-fat natural yoghurt
• 2tbsp pumpkin seeds
• 2tbsp coconut oil
