This is an easy and heart-healthy recipe for Garlic Bread. It’s great both for cold and the warm months.
Garlic is an herb with remarkable medicinal properties and it tastes great too. It lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels and inhibits blood clotting. It’s also a powerful germicide and can protect against some carcinogens. It’s better for you in its natural state – raw or lightly cooked – rather than dried as powder or in capsules. You can also use it as a base for various soups.
Garlic can reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack by lowering blood pressure and decreasing clot formation. It also has antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, making it especially helpful in combating respiratory infections, common colds, sore throats and fungal or yeast infections. In order to maximize garlic’s health-promoting properties, allow it to sit for at least five minutes after chopping or crushing before eating.
Method
This is simplest method to prepare garlic bread. Mix the garlic with the butter. Toast the bread either in the toaster or under a grill and spread with the garlic butter. This is it! Kids as well as adults will love it. If you want to add other herbs such as rosemary or origano as well as olives or Salami you can do it at your own taste.
