Try London Mums’ favourite recipe for a super easy Christmas punch to impress your guests this Christmas!
Serves 15
Ingredients:
· 3 bottles of red wine
· 4 tablespoons of a Granulated sweetener
· 3 cloves
· Pinch of nutmeg
· 1 – 1½ cinnamon sticks
· 300ml dark rum
· Zest and juice of 1 lemon
· Zest and juice of 3 oranges
Method:
It’s always fun to get all the family involved in making the Christmas punch. The spices fill the house with their delicious aromas. This recipe will serve 15 people, if you’re not too greedy!
Put the red wine, sweetener, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, rum, lemon and orange zest into a large, stainless steel saucepan. Warm it gently until it just reaches simmering point, then add the orange and lemon juice. Continue cooking for a couple of minutes, then leave to cool slightly and serve in tall tumblers.
