BLUE IS THE NEW BLACK – FIFTY SHADES OF BLUE

Blue is officially the new black and bold patterns are en vogue once more. Fifty shades of Blue is more what I would call Spring / Summer 2015 fashion trend.

Floral and colourful seem to be the extravagant themes of Spring / Summer 2015 fashion. Desigual, one of the most internationally renowned Spanish brands, presented its Women’s Spring/Summer 2015 Collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, the grand reference-point for Spanish Design throughout the world. This firm, which is characterised by its different, cheerful and highly colourful designs, currently has 95 of its own shops and more than 3,500 points of sale throughout Spain. Desigual ended last year with a total of 405 retail shops, 11,000 multi-brand shops and 2,500 corners at department stores, not to mention sales of more than 26 million clothing items throughout the world through its different channels.

PASTEL COLOURS

Custo Barcelona

Many designers are looking at nature for inspiration for their Spring / Summer 2015 collections and soft colours and pastel seem to be the dominating tones for the new lines of clothing as well as accessories like bags and shoes. I personally love these fashion items by Custo Barcelona.
