The London Mums magazine Christmas 2019 Special issue is out now!

Dear London Mums,

While Britain tries to get a good Brexit deal, London Mums’ magazine presents a special edition dedicated to all things Quintessentially British. And what could be more British than Downton Abbey The Movie. I was delighted to meet the entire cast and filmmakers at the London press conference as well as to chat to creator Julian Fellowes and actor Hugh Bonneville.

Tea at the Ritz London is a unique English tradition. I report about that and my recent chat with award-winning Royal Correspondent Robert Jobson who has written Our Royal Baby to mark the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten. Whether you believe in Brexit or not, London remains a vibrant European city. Here’s the proof: I am Italian and for the last 13 years I have been the front lady for the London Mums’ organisation created by and for mums and mumpreneurs based in London and beyond. I was honoured to be recently nominated by the Mayor Sadiq Khan as the ambassador for Italy at the ‘We Are All Londoners: Celebrating our European culture and communities’. Check the full memoir of that day in this edition.

My cover interview is with comedian and mother Olivia Lee, who has a British sense of humour. She shared with me her secrets on how to be a mindful mum and how not to lose her marbles. Her unique spin on mindfulness brings laughter and anger therapy together, to battle stress and the pressure of parenting for 21st century mums.

If the lack of sunshine makes you feel blue, it’s probably time to escape. So, in this issue you’ll find a guide to Valencia, the hidden gem in the Iberian Coast and the perfect destination for a family city break. And hopefully Christmas in Tuscany feature will get you in the festive mood.
