Dear London Mums,
our Spring magazine issue will be landing in selected supermarkets across London and other family friendly venues from the end of February. In the meantime we have to face new school holidays and entertain the kids once again for a whole week. In this newsletter you’ll find useful links to London Mums events’ calendar, activity pages filled with Half Term School Holidays Activities on a budget as well as ideas for indoor entertainment.
My friend and fellow blogger Mirka Moore has recently published my open letter including my personal fitness journey which might be of interest to some of you who think that they are not sporty. It is motivational to a certain extent: Women in Fencing – Behind the mask ….. En Guarde! http://fitness4mamas.com/health-fitness-tips/women-in-fencing/
When we can, London Mums share and flag interesting activities for parents. So here is a great a great paid-for media opportunity for mums with babies: A leading baby brand is currently looking for a mum and baby (under 8 months) who would like to feature in an instructional video on their YouTube channel (fee paid). Do you enjoy bathtime with your baby? Do believe in the benefits of baby massage? We’re looking for a confident mum and baby to be part of a ‘How to Bath and Massage’ video. If this sounds like you and your baby, then please get in touch. Please email us for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org By contacting us you are not obliged to take part in any filming.
At a loss for Half Term School Holidays Activities on a budget?
Our movie section is growing really fast with our show Biz correspondent Freda Cooper reviewing the best and most suitable films for London Mums magazine. We have also made our child reporters official and provided them a Kids Corner which they will use to post their favourite film reviews (as well as events, products and books). Here are our favourite film reviews this month:
Future Films Heads Up: FIFTY SHADES OF GREY (calling all mums out there: get out with your girlfriends this Valentine to watch this movie! Totally different and breaking all rules!)
