February 2014 Newsletter – School half term activities with Kids and much more

Dear London Mums

Super mega busy January is almost over! Breathe in and out slowly… Brace yourself soon for another Half Term with kids. But don’t despair. This February 2014 Newsletter is filled with tips for Things to do with the kids this School Half Term as well as career tips for Working mothers. You will also be inspired by our Valentine Gift guides for HIM and for HER. Plus we have compiled a useful list of School Half Term activities to do in London as well as in the comfort of your home (if the weather is gloomy).

At the beginning of January I made myself the big promise I would give up sugar (as in refined sugar not the natural source found in fruit) and the results have been amazing so far (3 weeks in my personal challenge): my skin is glowing, I don’t have any cravings and I don’t feel the need for sugar. It is incredible! It seems tough to give up cakes, biscuits etc but actually once you stop eating sugar your body does not crave any other sugary stuff so it is quite easy after the first three or four days. Try it! I will report back more about this challenge and the benefits of not eating sugar and how to replace it. Watch this space!

SEO

My second big challenge on a professional level I set myself at the beginning of January was to improve the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) on my website. Well, it seems quite technical (and it is) but SEO is simply what underlies any website and drives the traffic to it if done properly. I will share all the secrets I have learnt in my journey in a new workshop on 12th March 2014. It will only be a small group. We will do it again if it proves popular like the previous seminars we have run.
