April 2011 Newsletter

Dear London Mums

What a great start of Spring! Great weather and London Mums appearing on the Vanessa Show as sofa surfers! What a month we have ahead of us: two more appearances on the Vanessa Show, the re-launch of the London Mums website, a very long half term and Easter holidays and the Royal Wedding.

The new London Mums website has been re-developed to accommodate your numerous requests for more interaction online and opportunities to connect with other mums and mumpreneurs. Browse around and let us know what you think. You need to re-register with the new site before you start your own forums, chats and swap or sell your old baby stuff.

You can also join our Facebook Group, become a fan of our New Facebook Page and follow us on Twitter @londonmums. Enjoy even more interaction with your peers.

To celebrate the launch of the new website and to prepare for the summer we have organised a DIVA NIGHT party, ultimate pampering and fashion event for just a tenner including a fashion workshop run by our award winning stylist Lisa Talbot and pampering sessions with make up artists and hair consultations, Mini Manicures and disco dance. We expect a full house so if you are keen to attend, please book your tickets early at Eddie Catz Shop

We have amazing competitions again this month so do not forget to enter them.

During half term you can entertain the kids in creative and not expensive ways: London Mums and kids made creative Easter masks and cards at our playgroups using Poundland items that really cheered us up for just £1 each.

Read our list of things to do under £10 during half term and beyond.  Share your Royal Wedding street parties’ photos by posting them onto our London Mums Facebook Page.

With increasing bad media coverage on recent world events we asked Save the Children to advise us on how to Help Children Cope with the Emergency in Japan. Their Ten Tips are available now.

Plus do not miss our experts’ features: Style tips for busy mums by fashion consultant Lisa Talbot and Yoga and detox by Tara Lee.

If you are after a new business opportunity and seek inspiration, the Baby and Children’s market are offering a new flexible job opportunity – want to know how? Check it our in the feature Flexible job opportunity.

And if you want a new career or further training check
how studying is now become super easy for mums. thanks to From a Distance.

Last but not least, if you want your daughters to ‘shape’ a future Disney programme, please check our message board for a fantastic media opportunity.
