April 2012 Newsletter

Dear London Mums

What a month March has been! It was summer in London! Lots of positive energy around and people’s mood was exhilarating. We are looking forward to an amazing Spring with lots of FREE activities coming up for families in London and soon an even more exciting Jupilimpic time in our fab capital.

Search our improved events’ calendar if you are after FREE or cost effective ways to entertain your kids this half term and Easter without leaving the capital. There are plenty of Easter activities you can do at home too during rainy days. For daily tips and ideas for things to do with the kids at home check the ‘Get creative‘ section.

Don’t miss the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat race on Saturday 7th April! This year the Mayor of London in person will present the trophy to the winners.

After many years of hard work in the community, our London Mums’ organisation jointly with Work Your Way have been recognised by the Mayor of London and Great London Authority as ‘invaluable forums for forging new relationships, sparking ideas and providing advice in an easy, accessible way.’ Read the full interview for more details.

Talking about exciting interviews, check out the one with Beto, the creator of the Zumba programme and really charming guy. OK, don’t be too jealous!
