The Awards bash for Product of the Year Awards 2023 was a memorable one, for sure. Finally, after 3 years we were able to attend the ceremony in person (sparkles and all!) and be part of the show headlining host Sally Phillips, award -winning comedy-actor, writer and presenter alongside Kitchen Disco diva Sophie Ellis-Bextor ending the night in full swing. Sophie made a grand entrance walking down iconic restaurant Quaglino’s famous catwalk staircase.

THE UK’s biggest celebration of product innovation, the Product of the Year Awards 2023 has given its 37 winners a shortcut straight to the nation’s shopping list. And with one of our iconic shiny red logos featured on their products, their sales are set to go skyward.

At Quaglino’s Queen Elizabeth II famously dined in 1956 (the first British monarch to eat at a public restaurant) and Judy Garland celebrated her 5th (and final) wedding reception – the stylish interior was the perfect backdrop to a memorable night.

Despite the generous dollop of celebrity stardust, it was the smorgasbord of winning products that took centre stage, with UK brands including Mars, Premier, Perfetti Van Melle, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt and Unilever to rising stars including, TRIP Drinks, Shicken, and Mark Anthony Brands, filling their tables to fetch the coveted Product of the Year trophies for their innovations over the last 18 months.

The cherry on the top of the Product of the Year Cake is that the Product of the Year 2023 awards were voted for by the great British public. Carried out with researchers from Kantar, 8,000 UK consumers  decided on the winning products – a unique insight into the ever-changing habits of the UK shopper.

Reflecting the way we all live now, the worthy winners have all reacted swiftly and brilliantly to the changing times, casting a magic wand of innovation across the everyday products that are essential to our lives.

Key trends include: CBD products, sleep and relaxation, plant-based and vegan products, grooming for men and women, whole food innovation and confectionery.

Congratulations to all the winners!
