With only one week to go until World Book Day on 5th March 2015, we thought we’d celebrate with a competition! Five lucky readers are in for a chance to win a set of the specially commissioned World Book Day £1 books – which include Jonny Duddle’s A Pirate’s Guide to Landlubbing and Steven Butler’s Dennis the Menace: World Menace Day. Now in its 18th year, World Book Day is the biggest annual celebration of reading for children, and the £1 books are a yearly showcase of some of the bestselling writing and illustrating talent. As part of this, children across the country are given £1 National Book Tokens which they can use to claim their World Book Day title in bookshops across the country from 2nd March 2015.
