London Mums teamed with the lovely Max and Ivy to celebrate the launch of their new read and play sets. This is a brand new series of interactive, fun reading boxes to help parents encourage their reluctant readers to enjoy books.
Max and Ivy Read & Play boxes comes with a beautifully illustrated story book and an activity or game. There’s three to choose from:

- Max and Ivy enjoy Spending, Saving and Sharing
- Max and Ivy enjoy Magic
Winners will get to choose which set they’d like to win.
The sports day story set includes bean bags, egg and spoon kits, jumping sacks and leg straps. It can be enjoyed by up to four people, so perfect for getting siblings involved in the fun too.
The spend, save, share story set comes with three, lego-inspired money boxes, labelled spend, save and share, because it’s never too early to learn good values and habits.
The magic kit includes a magic wand (because all young magicians need a wand!) coin slider trick, dice trick and zig zag pencil trick – perfect on wet Sunday afternoons and long summer holidays.
These new sets help bring books to life and take the chore out of reading. As children learn through imitation, the read and play boxes offer children the chance to copy the characters of Max and Ivy and learn from them.
