Baby Jake is a nine-month-old baby boy and star of the animated series currently delighting 2 – 6 year olds up and down the country on CBeebies. Created by Darrall Macqueen, Baby Jake is a mixture of live action and 2D photographic animation.
The series is narrated by Baby Jake’s six-year-old brother Isaac, who can understand his giggles and gurgles and opens the door to an imaginary world where Baby Jake sings, dances and baby-talks with his animal friends Pengy Quin, Sydney the Monkey, Nibbles the Rabbit, the Hamsternauts and Toot Toot the tractor.
Baby Jake: Going on an Adventure is published by BBC Worldwide and available on DVD and to download digitally from 2nd April. This is the first time that Baby Jake and his friends can be owned on DVD or to download. These seven enchanting stories bring to life the magical imagination of a young child and that special bond between two young siblings.
