The movie reveals the answer to the age old question of children everywhere, just how all those millions of presents get delivered in one night, through an eye-popping look at Santa’s high-tech North Pole operation. Arthur Christmas is out on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD now from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Directed by Sarah Smith with Co-Director Barry Cook (Mulan), the computer animated 3-D film features the voices of James McAvoy (X-Men: First Class), Hugh Laurie (TV’s “House”), Bill Nighy (Love Actually), Jim Broadbent (The Iron Lady), Imelda Staunton and Ashley Jensen (both The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists). The movie also includes Justin Bieber’s single, “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” from his album “Under the Mistletoe.” ARTHUR CHRISTMAS was produced by Peter Lord, David Sproxton, Carla Shelley and Steve Pegram (all The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists) with Co-Producer Chris Juen (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and Co-Executive producer Peter Baynham (Hotel Transylvania). Baynham and Smith wrote the screenplay with music by Harry Gregson-Williams (Total Recall).

Synopsis:

How CAN Santa deliver billions of presents to the whole world in just one night? With an army of one million combat-style Field Elves and a vast, state-of-the-art control center under the ice of the North Pole! So how could this incredible operation have MISSED one child?! To Santa’s young son, Arthur, it threatens to end the magic of Christmas. With retired Grandsanta, a rebellious young elf, an old sleigh and some untrained reindeer, Arthur sets out in a crazy mission to deliver the last present!
