To celebrate the release of A Mermaid’s Tale on Digital Download, The Movie Partnership is delighted to offer copies of the movie to give away to three lucky readers of the London Mums magazine!
A Mermaid’s Tale, is the enchanting modern family story of a 12 year-old girl, Ryan (Caitlin Carmichael) and her dad (Jerry O’Connell), packing up their belongings to move to a seemingly quiet fishing town to live with grandfather, Art (Barry Bostwick). Eager to get to know his granddaughter more, Art tells Ryan local stories and myths of mermaids that live along their shores, but who have never been seen.
Although her dad is a non-believer, Ryan is ready to believe in the magic hidden in her new home, and whilst exploring the local coves and watching a pod of playful dolphins, she meets Coral. Coral and Ryan become close friends at a more rapid speed than most. It is soon clear that Coral is more average than expected. She just so happens to be one of the mermaids that Ryan’s grandfather Art had told her all about. The truth brings the two girls closer and soon they are working together to save the town as they uncover a powerful secret with their mythical story of friendship and redemption in this modern day fairy tale.
