We’ve teamed up with Barnes Children’s Literature Festival, London’s largest dedicated children’s book festival, to offer two family passes to a special picture book event, The Queen’s Knickers!
Enjoy a fun-filled session based on the bestselling children’s book, with author and illustrator Nicholas Allan, including a magic illusion featuring knickers that turn into snow(!) plus live drawing and a competition to decorate a pair of paper knickers for the Queen, where everyone wins a prize. Children will also discover what the Queen revealed to Nicholas when he visited her at Buckingham Palace, and the former Prime Minister’s reaction when Nicholas gave him a copy of the book at No 10!
A fun-filled session for ages 4+, on Sunday 14th May at 10am.
This event is part of a weekend of author talks, workshops, craft sessions, film, music and theatre for all ages, taking place around Barnes Pond in leafy south west London.
The perfect day out, with the atmosphere of a village festival just a stone’s throw from the centre of the capital. Check out the full programme for the Barnes Children’s Literature Festival here: http://www.barneskidslitfest.org/whats-on/
