In keeping in-tune with our focus on developing arts in East London, the Rosetta Art Centre are offering the chance for two young, creative individuals from ages 8-11 years, to receive a scholarship place in their ‘School of Art for Children’ programme. To enter, the creative kids must submit one A4 piece of work into our scholarship competition – from that two winners will be selected on the merit of creativity, individuality and expression.
The Rosetta School of Art for Children is a twenty-week programme that challenges and develops children’s artistic skills by introducing core foundation techniques, from painting to photography and pottery to printmaking. The classes are unique however, that as much as it teaches the technical skills of art it also provides a vibrant and warm environment for children to expand their imagination and truly enjoy learning the arts.
To submit work to the competition, the child’s work can be a painting, drawing or collage on A4 and can either be emailed to info@rosettaarts.org or dropped off to the centre directly and must include the artists name, age and guardians contact number.
The Deadline to enter the competition is Saturday 19th October 2013.
