Upcoming David Bowie film Stardust which will be released worldwide over the next couple of months, has premiered last month at the Rome Film Festival 14th Edition with the Director, Gabriel Range, lead actor Jonny Flynn and the producer  Fabien Westerhoff present at  Rome Film Festival 2020 to present it while the official trailers was released in the UK last Wednesday, sparking  fury from fans.

Film review: Roald Dahl’s The Witches

It’s always risky to adapt a Roald Dahl’s novel to the big screen because we all have individual memories of his stories that we treasure. I have rarely liked any Roald Dahl’s adaptations – with the exception of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starring Johnny Depp – but Roald Dahl’s The Witches starring Anne Hathaway as the Grand High Witch is well made and captivating. The special effects somehow flow smoothly and you feel transported into Roald Dahl‘s world of these evil creatures that persecute children all around the world.

Harry Macqueen talks about his movie Supernova at the Rome Film Fest 2020

UK filmmaker Harry Macqueen presents Supernova, his second feature at the Rome Film Fest 2020 as part of the Official Selection. A touching love story between a gay couple which needs to deal with the daunting and scare diagnosis of  dementia. The film cast benefits from stars of the stature  of Stanley Tucci in the role of a writer who will die of dementia and Colin Firth, his already grieving partner.

The film explores the challenging and universal themes of an announced loss of a loved one.
