Browsing on Netflix can be pretty addictive sometimes but also amazing if you are researching movies of a particular star. One actress I have always been impressed with is Natalie Portman. And here is the list of some of her films in the last 15 years. What I love about the films Natalie stars in is that they have no obvious endings or storylines. They include no cliches or predictable turns. She seems to choose films that are not very commercial either. Maybe this is the reason I love Natalie Portman so much. She only picks films she believes in.

How far would you go to have a baby? And how do you bring up a child with multiple cultural backgrounds? A new short film on 1000londoners.com profiles a woman who has had to deal with both of these issues.
Rose is a Spanish mother who grew up within Stockwell and Brixton’s Hispanic community. Her husband, Artif, is from Egypt and speaks Arabic as his first language. After unsuccessfully trying for a child for many years, Artif took Rose to Egypt for fertility treatment, where it’s a third of the price of comparable treatments in London.

Film Review: Postman Pat: The Movie

Postman Pat: The Movie hits the UK cinemas on 23 May 2014.
If you are a big fan of Postman Pat like my 7 year old son who has watched absolutely ALL (with no exaggeration) series many times on TV and on DVD, you are certainly disappointed for the first 10 minutes of the movie while you are getting used to the different voices and CGI faces. But then the characters become familiar again and you start enjoying the gags which the movie has plenty of.
In fact it has so many great gags that I think I missed a few while I was still laughing at the previous one.
