When I was 14 I went on a pilgrimage to Assisi (Umbria, Italy) with my aunt who was very keen to show me some of her volunteering work. I did not expect it to be fun, but I still have fond memories of that trip. When you are experiencing health issues, sometimes the best thing that you can do is to jet off and take a pilgrimage to make you feel better. While not every medical condition can be cured with a pilgrimage, this is something which many people try in order to improve their health and experience some wellness.
