Stand Up at The O2: Suzi Ruffell’s unique comedy show with a top view

Sep 18 2020

Months of lockdown and isolation have made us appreciate the little things in life. Stand Up at The O2, a comedy show with the backdrop of the City of London on the roof of the O2 was the best way to go back to my social life. The comedian hosting this special comedy event series is award-winning comedian Suzi Ruffell. She is genuine, hilarious and different from most comedians out there. She has performed on The Jonathan Ross Show, Live at the Apollo and The Last Leg to name a few and praised by The Guardian as a ‘stand-up gem’. Ruffell has established herself as one of the top upcoming comedic talent completing five sell-out runs at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and finishing the second series of her popular podcast ‘Out With Suzi Ruffell.’ With the Fringe Festival unfortunately cancelled this year, Stand Up at The O2 is the perfect alternative for those seeking their comedy fix or simply some light-hearted entertainment.

Hard Rock Cafe Piccadilly Circus re-opens with a new family menu that rocks

Aug 04 2020

My first restaurant visit after easing of lockdown restrictions was the Hard Rock Cafe Piccadilly Circus, the most recent opening of the chain which pays tribute to the building’s prestigious heritage and unbeatable West End location. As a rock chick, I am always wowed by the walls adorned with authentic, one-of-a-kind memorabilia from decades of music history, featuring items from British music legends and international stars alike. The music in the background while eating is always carefully selected to please rock fans so undeniably Hard Rock Cafe is always one of my favourite choices when it comes to a Central London eatery.
