Spring Cleaning with Shaun the Sheep at Mudchute Farm

Mudchute Park & Farm is London’s Best Kept Secret. And not many people know that it is the farm that inspired Aardman’s genius animation series Shaun the Sheep. We spent half day at Mudchute and had a private tour with a charming tour guide who told us all about the animals in their care. The kids loved touching and playing with the animals and finding all about one of the largest city farms in London (32 acres of countryside in the middle of the Isle of Dogs, South East London). Mudchute is free and open most of the year but as a charity it needs donations to keep surviving. Kids can experience close encounters with friendly fur and feathered creatures and book special events for a small (but important) fee.
