Polo in the Park: Quintessentially British

My Quintessentially British week started with an exclusive cosy chat with Stephen Mangan, quintessentially British actor who is currently voicing the quintessentially British character  of Postman Pat. Then I met Mr Twinings in person (yes you heard me, one of the famous tea family heir) and how best end my special week….  I went for a lesson of polo as a total novice in horse riding and polo. Guess what? Polo is the quintessentially British sport (despite coming from Argentina) with all Royals practising and raving about it.

Kensington Palace with kids

Kensington Palace is incredibly interesting for both kids and adults as it is filled with all things Royal and Fashion to watch. Kids are handed out a pack to solve a quiz about Queen Victoria that keeps them focused during the visit.

The Kids Today Project: London seen through the eyes of a school boy

My son Diego and I were pleased to be involved in the latest Persil Kids Today campaign focused on analysing how life is through a child’s eyes, which shows that recreation and hands-on experiences are not nice-to-haves, but are in fact critical to every child’s developmental success. The project provides a fresh, new perspective on why hands-on experiences are crucial in equipping children with skills for success. By seeing, hearing, touching and exploring the world around them and experiencing challenge and adventure, children become adults that are adaptable, collaborative, able to communicate easily, emotionally strong, problem solvers and able to exert social influence.
