A puddle-jumpingly funny book!
Snug slippers, terrific trainers or the perfect pair of party shoes? NO! It’s wellies that Molly loves. And she loves them so much that she never takes them off. Ever. On the beach, in the bath and even in bed, Molly and her wellies are inseparable and NOTHING’S going to change that . . . or is it? A brilliant new book from the creator of THE BOY WHO HATED TOOTHBRUSHES.
This book makes us all reflect on our little obsessions… It’s very educational both for kids and mummies. After all nobody’s perfect!
THE AUTHOR: Zehra Hicks is an exciting new name in children’s picture books. She has a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from Northumbria University, and completed a Book Illustration course at Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2009, the same year in which she was Highly Commended in the Macmillan Prize for Children’s Book Illustration.
THE GIRL WHO LOVED WELLIES is her second picture book, her first being THE BOY WHO HATED TOOTHBRUSHES. Zehra has a professional background in design, and her vibrant line and strong sense of composition mark her out from the crowd, making her a real one to watch. She lives in Epsom with her husband and their two children.
